November is traditionally a quieter time in Noosa, with the crowds of the school holidays still a long way off. There’s plenty of room on the beach and in the waves, the cafes are buzzing rather than heaving, the river is quiet and the palm trees lining Noosa Pacific’s private beach sway peacefully in the salty air.
Beating the masses doesn’t mean there’s nothing to do though, it’s just easier to do everything! Hire a bike and cruise along Gympie Terrace or Hastings Street without playing dodgem with packs of pedestrians and other riders. Get out on one of the hire boats for a stress-free glide up and down the crystal clear water. Hop on a Noosa Ferry for a sunset cruise (don’t forget your bottle of preferred sundowner). Stop in at any one of the cafes and restaurants for breakfast or lunch, and enjoy some relaxed Christmas shopping after. This is also the perfect time to get out to some of the local markets for unique gifts for loved ones, and maybe a little something for yourself, without the holiday season crush.
