When it comes to spoiling Mum or that special lady in your life, nothing says ‘I love you’ more than an effort to ensure she is well and truly relaxed. As such, we have two words for you: Day Spa. Mothers in particular, usually give more of themselves to others, so we’re going to give you the tip- relaxation involves you (the kids or significant other) being nowhere in the vicinity. To truly rest, recharge and rejuvenate, the experience should involve minimal decision making (beyond herbal tea or champers after the treatment), no small children and no doing of anything for anyone. And at least for an hour, though two or three is much better. For our Noosa Pacific guests, the choices are many and varied, but for the team, there is one hands down winner for an immersive (and long!) day spa experience.
The Noosa Springs Spa is located a short 8 minute drive from Noosa Pacific Resort, and is located on the excellent Noosa Springs Golf Course (don’t worry fellas- we’ve got your back!) The clubhouse is a beautiful destination in itself, but through the water feature courtyard lies the day spa, where a hushed atmosphere, organic treatments and plush dressing gowns and slippers await. Packages range from a two hour Spa High Tea to the sigh inducing SpaCation of four and a half hours. Perhaps the best aspect of the Noosa Springs Spa however, is it’s Thermal Suite. Here, hot and cold therapies combine in the Steam Room, Infrared Sauna, Blitz Shower and HydroMassage Pool. If you’re opting for a singular treatment, booking the Thermal Suite in before this is an absolute must! Eliminate toxins in the steam room, sauna and shower, before floating through the hydromassage pool, where strong underwater jets will “massage your body and the near body temperature water will relax your muscles and improve your circulatory system.” All this before the treatment even begins? Yes please!
The treatments themselves are heavenly, and run the full gamut of experiences. For the body, there are scrubs, wraps, massages (including hot stone) and a flotation pool to soothe those tired muscles and rejuvenate the skin. Each facial uses the Eminence organic skin care range, with specific treatments to firm, calm, brighten or hydrate the skin, an ‘Age Corrective’ facial and add-on peels. Pedicures, manicures, spray tans, waxing, tinting, makeup… Everything at Noosa Springs Spa is completed by wonderful staff who truly care about your wellbeing and relaxation, and they won’t ask for snacks like the kids back at Noosa Pacific would either!
Speaking of snacks, finish this blissful day spa experience with a High Tea, lunch, herbal tea or champagne in the gardens or downstairs in the (very good) restaurant overlooking the fairways. Rested, rejuvenated and completely relaxed, your mum or lady love may just be ready to re-enter the world again!
